Schedule and other happenings.

Seven Springs is about a week away. I've ridden the course a few times in last month or so and 95% of it is the same as it was last year. They added a bit of singletrack and took out a little quad trail here and there. While I do think the course is a little shorter mileage wise, the only reason someone should call it "faster" is because it's been so dry here for the last few weeks. There are spots on that course that ALWAYS have a few puddles, but were bone dry this weekend. Hopefully last night's rain did a little to calm down sme of the dust. We should do well in our quest to defend last year's win. Don was on vacation last week, but "vacation" to him was 250 road miles averaging over 20mph per ride in 6 days. I'm excited, let's do this right now. Maaaaaybe I'll be riding a new bike??

The last race of the Michaux Series hits on September 14th; The Terror of Teaberry. I'm very much looking forward to it. It CAN"T be more difficult than Dark Hollow, can it? Can it?

The Month of Mud starts Sept 21st at Bavington for the time trial. I'll miss the Brady's Run race as I'll be away in London. Those of you racing, please think of me during that climb as I'll probably be on the Eurostar going to Paris via the Channel Tunnel. I'll be back for the 'cross race, but whether I decide to do it is another story. Moraine is a definite possibility though.

Iron Cross??
