So I spent the last week and half slightly under the weather. Add to that a trip to New York City and you have a boy who took an extended recovery week. The last three days though have been business as usual.
This guy right here though is about to reveal his gross cannibalistic head. As I ramp up the base training hours per week, I'm going to need more sleep to recover. It's a sick joke that isn't that funny at all. I have the time to actually ride more throughout the week, the problem is finding the time to get the extra sleep to make it worthwhile. Furthermore, if I ride without the extra sleep, I'm probably going to end up over-reaching and therefore worse off than if I just hadn't increased the training load in the first place. Oy vey.

A Catch-22 indeed. Trying to ride more, still get sleep, work, get life's little things done and not end up sick is NOT easy. More often than not I end up on the snotty tissue end of things. Good luck.
